United Way of Southeast Mississippi Announces Pacesetter Campaign

HATTIESBURG, MISS. - United Way of Southeast Mississippi kicked off the United Way Pacesetter Campaign on July 11, 2023, with a networking event held at Bourbon on Front.

Pacesetters are those businesses that run their United Way campaign in August to “set the pace” for other workplace campaigns that will take place in the fall. Funds raised through workplace giving help fund local programs that are addressing our community’s most critical needs.

“Pacesetter companies create excitement for our workplace campaign, and they inspire others to follow their lead when it’s time for the annual campaign” said Tracie Fowler, President and CEO, United Way of Southeast Mississippi.

This year’s Pacesetter companies include Anderson Design Center, Area Development Partnership, Cadence Bank, Citizens National Bank, Dixie Electric, Forrest General Hospital, Hancock Whitney, Hattiesburg Clinic, Hood Industries, Mississippi Power, Regions, Southeast Mississippi Rural Healthcare Initiative and The First.

United Way of Southeast Mississippi works to connect people with needs to the resources available to meet those needs creating opportunities to improve their health, expand their education, and grow their livelihood so that they can thrive.
