Thirteen local banks donate $33,000 to United Way of Southeast Mississippi

HATTIESBURG, MISS. – Thirteen banks throughout the Hattiesburg area have come together to give back to the community with a substantial donation to United Way of Southeast Mississippi.

(Alexandria, VA) January 25, 2021 – United Way Worldwide today released its 2021 Policy Agenda for the 117th Congress. The Agenda, developed with input from local United Ways across the country, details the policy priorities the United Way U.S. network will advocate for with their Members of Congress in 2021.

The Campaign for Grade-Level Reading has announced that it is recognizing Southeast Mississippi with Pacesetter Honors for its work in 2019 in the community solutions impact areas of School Attendance/Chronic Absence.
